Founded by Indorama Synthetics in 1996, Rama International School (RIS) is managed by the Yayasan Rama International School. Situated close to the lake Jatiluhur and providing the perfect ambience for scholarly pursuits, RIS is an asset for expatriate children living in Purwakarta, Indonesia.

The school aims at providing strong roots to students to help them become good global citizens. RIS offers a broad-based curriculum, preparing students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Grade X) examination. So far, eight batches have graduated from the portals of this institution.

To prepare the students for holistic growth, the school offers a wide range of activities like elocution, debate, quizzes, dramatics, dance, music, art, craft and ceramics. Athletics, swimming, cricket, basketball, badminton, soccer and karate develop the physical faculties of our students. Social service and community welfare activities are also part of the education at RIS.
