Indorama Iplik Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Iplik) was set up in Turkey in 1998 as part of the Indorama Group's strategy of establishing a global spinning presence. With state-of-the-art ring spinning facility and latest machinery and equipment from Europe and Japan, the plant started with the production of spun yarn from polyester and rayon and diversified to produce cotton yarns. The company manufactures a wide variety of products like polyester, rayon, cotton, poly-rayon and cotton rayon blended yarns and value-added products like core spun, slub, gippe and covered yarns.

Indorama Iplik predominant in-turn serves the quality-conscious domestic industry in Turkey, which serves European brands and markets. Exports are mainly to the USA and Europe. Indorama Iplik produces one of the best quality yarns in Turkey, serving customers that include the biggest names in the Turkish textile industry.

The plant has an installed capacity of 31,248 ring spindles to produce 10,350 mt of spun and blended yarns with count ranging from Ne 6 to Ne 60. The plant is also equipped to twist ply yarns according to market needs.

Indorama Iplik has had an excellent track performance in the recent years. The company's products have been well accepted for its quality and service in both Turkish and international markets. The plant has obtained prestigious certifications like ISO 9001: 2000, OE 100 Standard of the Organic Exchange, SKAL International Standards for Sustainable Textile Production, Oeko Tex and Success Award from the department of foreign trade, for its export performance.
