At Eleme, the company has created employment opportunities for more than 275 young men and women from the host communities through direct and contractual engagement. The company has also employed more than 355 young men and women from host communities during the turn around management in 2006.

As a long-term initiative, Eleme Petrochemicals aims to provide drinking water to host communities and facilitate consistent supply of electricity in collaboration with the state government and semi-government organisations. The company has launched various initiatives to promote agriculture for sustained economic development of the region and organised health awareness programmes.
