prestigious Primaniyarta Award (best exporter nominee)
by the government of Indonesia in the category of
foreign investment companies in 2006. This is the
fourth time since 1997 that Indorama has been recognised
by the Indonesian government for its contribution

polyester laboratory — the first in Indonesian
polyester industry
Indorama polyester yarn, fibres,
spun yarns and 100 per cent combed cotton have been
accredited by Oeko-Tex standard 100 which certifies
that products meet the humano-ecological requirements
for adult use with direct skin contact
Polyester filament yarns, staple
fibre and 100 per cent combed cotton yarns are certified
for use in products which are in contact with baby
skin
SKAL certificate for 100 per
cent organic and organic blended yarns
Indorama is the first textile
company in Indonesia to upgrade the ISO 9002 certification
issued in 1994 to ISO 9001:2000 certification as
soon as the final standard was released by ISO-TC
in December 2000

the lead to become the first processing unit to
