The spun yarns division of Indorama
has a wide range of regular products and a boutique
of high quality specialty yarns. Indorama Synthetics
is a well-regarded brand globally; it is a symbol of
quality, consistency and responsiveness. Today, Indorama
is exporting spun yarns to about 60 countries and to
reputed customers and vendors to brands like Esprit,
Nike, M&S, S. Oliver, Lerros, Jockey and Gap.
Established in 1976 near Jakarta, with an initial production
capacity of 3,000 tons per annum, the production of
the spun yarns division has reached 36,000 tons per
annum.
The spun yarns division employs the best of equipment
from suppliers in Switzerland (Reiter), Japan (Toyoda
and Murata), Germany (Zinser, Trutzschler, Schlaforst
and Volkmann), India (Lakshmi Reiter) and UK (Thies
dyeing machines) including pioneering technologies and
cutting-edge automation. State-of-art manufacturing
is complemented by a young and dynamic team of employees.
The quality of Indorama's spun yarns
is ranked in the top 5 to 10 percentile of the world's
spinners based on the internationally recognized Zellweger
Uster (Switzerland) statistics. The spun yarns division
boasts of an innovative range of products, such as carpet-backing,
melange, zero contamination and stretch yarns.
