It took the company little over four months to implement a combined quality and environmental management system at the Purwakarta manufacturing facilities. Indorama Synthetics employs state-of-the-art equipment for effluent treatment to meet World Bank and government of Indonesia environment standards.

Adequate medical facilities are provided for all employees and their families and the company employs a strict no child labour policy.
